First time deep sea fishing. The seas were a bit rough, in the first hour look like we were going to get skunked. Kenny and Captain Dennis worked so hard to put us on fish, ended up With nine fish and dinner for the rest of the week. Thank you we will book with you again. Mike from NY
My son and I took a trip together on Dec 30. The boat was easy to get to and we were warmly welcomed aboard. We were quickly on our way. For our 4 hour trip, Wahoo was our target which was exciting as it was a fish I have never caught. Unfortunately, we were unsuccessful and finished the trip without a single bite. Captain Dennis was very pleasant and informative. He worked hard trying to get us on fish, running five lines, changing baits etc. I found that the pricing was very reasonable for this trip. Just needed a bit more luck.

Great day out on the water. Capt. Dennis was friendly and went out of his way to be accommodating. Orlando did an excellent job of navigating the waters. We had five lines running from reels and one free line in the water. We ended up pulling in a nice Wahoo from this “hand line”- no spool, pretty cool. When we got back to the dock, Orlando filleted the fish and put about three pounds ( We didn’t want more than we could eat in a single sitting)in a bag for us to take to a nearby (2 min walk) restaurant. There were 3 of us, so we asked the restaurant to prepare the fish three different ways. The fish was awesome. Ocean to table in a couple hours. Nothing beats that for fresh. Tough to beat a day on the water. Throw in a nice catch to make three great meals and this gets an A+.

Had an educational and productive outing with Captain Dennis and First Mate Kenny. My wife and I were treated great and the Captain has and shared an innate understanding of the ecosystem these open water fish inhabit, how they behave and what drives their world. If you listen and watch, you will gain a better understanding of how difficult it is to “intercept” these high speed predators that never pause or stop moving through their environment. My suggestion would be to go out on a trip like this for the education and to develop an appreciation for the world these creatures inhabit and not base the success of the trip on how many fish you catch. Truly a remarkable experience for my wife and I.

We enjoyed our trip with Dennis even though we didnt land many fish. That’s not really his fault, and he was taking us to where his buddies who were out at the same time were catching fish, so I know he wanted us to have success. We did land a wahoo which we kept and had our hotel cook up for us. It was the best fish I’ve ever eaten. The experience was excellent, and I’d do it again if I get back to Aruba.
Some areas I’d say to improve are to give a good overview of what the experience will be like, and point us to safety equipment such as life jackets. I could easily see it being a possibility to have someone fall out of the boat fighting a fish, and there were no life jackets or life preservers to be seen if someone needed to throw one to a man overboard.
Besides those couple of things, we had a great time with Dennis.
