A very enjoyable trip with no regrets! You will need strength(no hangovers) to pull out a big fish, seems obvious, but if you can’t the Capitan will help out. If you would like to take your fish to your country be prepared to freeze it and keep it in a foam Ice chest to return.

Good trip.  Only caught one Eldorado and Tuna.  Hooked a 6’ hammer head shark and fought it for 45 min and finally got it to the boat, where the captain hit it on the head a few times, but couldn’t get the shark into the boat before it’s sharp skin snapped the line!  Disappointing, but great fight.  It’s a small boat in some big swales, so pack some Dramamine!  They cleaned and filleted the fish s d we cooked it a few nights later —delicious!  Great overall experience.

I chose Daliken because of the positive reviews. We expected to fish for Marlin as advertised. When we arrived at the boat we mentioned we were looking forward to fish for Marlin. The rep said yes the Captain said ‘No Marlin fishing.’ The Captain could not speak English however, with great fishing, it wouldn’t have mattered. My husband did catch two Dorado which was great! We fished for almost 3 hours before the Captain used live bait and then we caught the fish. The trip advertised a mixture of chips and drinks. There was nothing offered. A small thing but none the less, was advertised. We brought some snacks and drinks and ended up sharing them with the Captain. We were delayed in leaving (no ice) and came back 30 minutes early so the promised 5 hours ended up being less that 41/2. We hesitated to write our experience but felt if I had read some negative reviews I may not have chosen Daliken.
