Daliken Sportfishing offers inshore and offshore adventures out of San Jose, Mexico. Captain Jamie enjoys teaching his clients how to catch their own fish so even if you've never held a fishing rod in your life, you don't have to worry! There is nothing better than fishing for pleasure on the stunning waters in and around the southern tip of Baja California.

You will go out aboard a 26' Mako center console, licensed to take up to 3 anglers but provides comfortable space for up to 5 guests. The boat comes powered by a 150 HP Honda engine with a maximum cruising speed of 27 knots. It is rigged with safety equipment and navigational electronics. There is a livewell, along with an ice-box to store the catch, and a toilet for your maximum comfort on the water.

San Jose fishing charters with Captain Jaime are a good way to spend your holidays in the right way. Stay close to the shore or travel further out to catch Mahi-Mahi Mahi, Snapper, Striped and Blue Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, King Mackerel, Jack Crevalle, Roosterfish, Yellowtail Amberjack, Wahoo, and many more. Whichever fishing technique you will need to use, Captain Jamie will teach you the best methods, from light and heavy tackle to bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, popping, and jigging.

All trips come inclusive with quality equipment to make a great catch possible. You will be provided with Shimano rods and Penn reels, as well as William and Zuker lures. Captain Jaime will bring, water on board, but you can also feel free to bring your own favorite food and drinks. If you don't feel like fishing and opt for the 3 hour snorkeling adventure, the captain will provide you with all the necessary gear for you to enjoy that great exercise. You can purchase the fishing license on board for USD $20 per person.

Amazing Fishing Trip !!!!

This was the first time my girlfriend and I have ever fished out of San Jose.  The Captain Jaime, or could have been Carlos and crew Felipe were outstanding.  We hooked our first stripped marlin 30 minutes into fishing, but unfortunately it broke off.  But in the next two hours we landed two beautiful Striped Marlin, one about 80lbs then a 220lb monster.  We also hooked what was probably a very large shark that we fought for about 40 minutes before the line snapped.  Back at the marina we took photos and they cleaned and filleted the fish for use.,  We also had them vacuum seal it and freeze it for our flight back to Oregon.  I would definitely charter from them again, we had an amazing trip. The only complaint I had was that one of the reels did not have a level wind on it, which caused the line to bunch up in the middle while I was fighting the shark and caused the line to pinch and break.  I really wanted to see it after the long fight.  Overall we were very happy with the charter and look forward to the next trip with them.

Great Day Fishing!!

My wife, daughter, and I fished for 4 hours with our guide, Poncho. He was very friendly and very efficient in setting up the rigs for trolling and live-bait fishing. We hooked 2 mahimahi on live-bait, then a few on lures. We caught  a very large mahi that Poncho said was rare to see. After returning to the dock there were guys waiting to filet our catch. We walked away with 5 full bags of mahi filets! Daliken kept in good contact with us prior to our trip and confirmed all the details. We highly recommend Daliken!!

Amazing experience

I fished with Capt Pancho of Daliken Charters for two 6hr trips . Wwe were fishing and within approxately 15 min. of leaving the dock I hookrd the roosterfish that was on my bucket list. What a fish ! On the second trip we caught Mahi mahi .We were about to come in when we hooked a striped marlin. So much fun and work. I can't say enough good things about Cpt Pancho and rhe entire experience. Everythin went so smoothly from meeting Felipe who got the fishing licence and showed mme wher I needed to get to the boat. Wonderful time. Thanks to all that helped me have an amazung trip.

Got off to a slow start, we couldn't find live bait. Once the Captain decided to head out the energy improved. The Captain and first mate were seasoned veterans. They had a destination in mind. We got there and we got set up quickly. We trolled awhile and noticed something in the water. It was a Marlin with its head sticking up. We starting heading that way, when fish on! A Mahi was leaping out of the water. I pulled that fish in, when another Mahi leaped.  Fish on again. We landed that fish. Great start. We settled in, set up and trolled. 
A little while later, bam, fish on. This was a different story. Reel screaming, heart pumping, a big Blue Marlin dancing on the water. An epic battle ensued. The Captain and mate did a great job helping me land the fish of my dreams.

caught a Marlin!

I have a mixed review.  we've fished with this company 3 times now.  We reserved a trip with the understanding that we would have a specific captian.   It wasn't until we boarded our boat that i was informed that Captain wasn't available.  We shrugged it off and got underway.   on the way out of the harbor our captian didnt stop for live bait.  i was told my 30 bucks paid for the frozen pack of ballyhoo.   I raised a ruckus and we headed back to port.  Well 45 minutes later and no live bait we went fishing.   Here is the good news, Cesar (our captian) fished his butt off.  He changed tactics, chased bait balls and found us a fish of a lifetime.  my boys and I each got a chance to fight the Striped Marlin we hauled in.   yeah it was an epic day.
