Mohammed, I hope you find that boat you dreamt about catching those groupers on. But please don’t return to Rewind. After y’all were almost 45 minutes late, I purchased bait so we could go ahead to the fishing grounds instead of spending time catching it. Some of your crew were quite enjoyable to be around and talk to during our travel time. They were excited and quite intrigued to see what they would experience. I love showing folks this amazing resource that don’t or haven’t had a chance to experience it. We’ve caught 8 Wahoo in the past couple weeks. Which is awesome might I add. Not only a trophy to catch, but top of the line table fare. So the late departure, the language barrier, y’all’s lack of knowledge and experience, are a lot of the factors that influenced where we fished.  We could have kept 12 Snappers off the first place we fished. Y’all missed so many opportunities.. lost bait after lost bait and losing them on the way up, it would have taken a bit longer than the time we had to catch 12 Snappers ,of a good grade , for y’all to take home. So we went to a place where they were suicidal. Just a few seconds under the boat, nice snappers were caught by yall. A limit of nice Red Snappers is the goal of every fishing charter this time of year. So afterwards, I thought of how good our odds were of catching a Wahoo or some other pelagic fish. I knew 2 of your buddy’s at least would never forget it. As opposed to changing out our Tackle with multiple and smaller hooks so we could catch the smaller breeds of snapper of some of the reefs. We didn’t have a whole lot of time to do it anyway. Everyone was so excited and amazed at what they had just caught. As I’m looking out around that I don’t know 5 acre patch of weeds that drifted close to us while we were fishing, I heard you start asking my mate about Groupers. I guess you didn’t believe what I told you at the beginning of our trip when you asked about groupers. I told you I would be lying to you if I could say we were going to catch Groupers. We do frequently catch them I think we have caught about 10 since snapper season opened. It is not like it used to be. But we do catch groupers while we we’re fishing the reefs and wrecks for our target fish, Red Snapper. You took the joy and excitement out of most of your crew talking to my mate about how we should be able to go catch Groupers since we have a limit of Snapper. I’m not sure if it was that you didn’t believe me or our language barrier kept you from understanding me when you asked me before the trip about Groupers. But anyway you’re lack of satisfaction, appreciation, and disrespect to me definitely took the wind out of my sails. As I now watched all of your group wanting to catch Groupers and not enjoying what we were doing which was looking for pelagic fish with our Lewers out making our way back towards the house. So I made another stop for you that I had historically caught a good number of Grouper on. After missing some fish and pulling up a few little snappers it was time to go home. We went home with a great catch. A couple of the boats we backed in with had been gone on all day long trips and our catch stood up to them just fine. Aside from you being ungrateful and trying to tell me what I should and shouldn’t do where we should and shouldn’t go with the charter boat I run every day, I enjoyed our trip and thought it went good. I’ll take it every day of the week. But you sir, I choose and hope to never have to take another minute of. You tipped my mate 5%. He did a ton of work for y’all. I haven’t seen him work that hard and all of our snapper trips. And even if it was, as you said, I lack of knowledge on my part that other fish weren’t boated, what in the world does that have to do with him. He worked hard as he could and provided a pretty dang good service to you and all of your crew. And for all of that that he did, you showed your appreciation with gratuity less than any I have seen all year. Mohamed I do hope you enjoy your future days of fishing as long as they’re not on Rewind
