Nothing further from the truth. No one sleeps on Rewind. It just doesn’t work like that. Since you obviously had no idea what we were doing inside the cabin when you walked up to the boat, I’ll let you know. We were straightening a few things out that we thought could be a little better than what we did the evening before. That was it making it better for our customers. I’m not sure what you’re trying to get out of this James, but anyone and everyone is able to see clear through you. Normal travel time in one direction on an eight hour trip is upwards of two hours. Well it was an hour and 50 minutes when we started fishing one hour and 15 minutes into our trip we began dropping lines. Not including the trolling lines we had out the entire time. James you never wet a hook you set up there with me taking pictures of all the nice fish your grandsons brought over the rail Vermillion and White Snappers daily bag limits of a fine grade of Triggerfish. Dylan and I both have recreational licenses, so we also let you keep a bag limit for the captain and the crew. Instead of walking up the ladder handing me $400 and commending of how great the trip was, I certainly wish you could’ve spoke some of these words at that time. Maybe it’s a little harder to speak lies when you’re face-to-face. Not really sure. Since you were in the charter industry James seems like he would have a bit of ethics. Well I forgot you were only the silent partner speaking your words with your money. How did that work out? Not much of that business exists anymore. I only know that because you told me so. James I hate to say it but every day we go fishing we have to take a boat ride. We hope to accomplish some goals when we get there. And then James again we have to take a boat ride back to Destin. When you go cobia fishing, it’s very much like hunting. Not every day do you see one. I’ll get all the great pictures from the photo guy down here on the docks and post them so we could at least show how happy everyone is. And how proud of the awesome cats everyone is. When we’re back in Destin with our fish hanging on the racks. The weird part James as we discussed it. We discussed looking for a Cobia on a ride back to Destin. I was putting forth a lot of effort even then buddy. I was up in the tower trying to hunt you down a fish. Even in the rough seas. When you could hardly make it up a ladder one section of it. James I was up 40 feet driving the boat and trying to find you a fish. I wish you could’ve told me how ungrateful you were of all of the effort that we put forth from before you got to the boat the entire time you were on the boat and way after you left the boat Dylan and I were putting forth effort for y’all. James just as we talked in the morning, I talk to every customer that comes on the boat. I ask about expectations I ask about intentions. Most of the time I’ll give you my plan such as I did that morning and make sure it works with you and the thoughts that you had on how the trip was going to go. All that happened and according to you and your grandsons everything was awesome until it’s time to write a review. Whatever James the $400 tip that plagues you should be yours. Dylan doesn’t want it if you don’t want him to have it. So break free and come get your tip so it plagues you no longer. James I figured you knew. Especially after Dylan reiterating what we were doing I figured you had a handle on what was going on. We don’t bottom fish with cobia jigs. We don’t pitch to hook rigs with squid on it in a 16 ounce lid on the bottom of it to cobia when we see them. It just doesn’t work like that James. So if I had spotted a fish hooked it pass the rod down and we landed the fish it probably would’ve been the best day ever seeing as you only wanted a fish dinner and that’s all you took, we exceeded your expectations James yeah we did not see a Cobia on the ride home and now all the sudden captain and crew were sleeping on the boat when you arrived we put forth no effort we drove nearly 30 miles to catch the fish that we had James. You know that though. Captain if we could get a fish dinner out of the deal and these boys go home with sore arms well I’d call this trip a success. That’s what you said James. We accomplish our goals and exceeded our expectations. Yet it was a horrible trip we didn’t get the trophy. My goodness wear a family owned and operated business with a lot of pride and a near impeccable track record. We always go above and beyond to make our customers happy. We set goals and accomplish them daily. We have one heck of a marvelous resource available to us. I do this because I enjoy sharing it with folks from around the world. Most folks see the beauty, and appreciate all the effort put forth so it could be shared with them. Not sure what you’re trying to get out of this James but it makes no sense to me. You make no sense to me. Straight up fictitious statements. I’m glad it’s you sir that has to live in that world.I feel

We spent a lot of time having fun trolling with the lures and outriggers but still managed a little bottom fishing to catch some nice bull mingo’s, a scamp, an almaco jack and that brilliant red creole fish.

Hey man, don’t forget about me spending $100 to save y’all’s time because baitfishing has been so slow. I don’t control the limits and regulations on these fish. We caught a fine grade limit of Red Snapper. After that, when I said let’s put out some lures and troll for a Wahoo… you should have spoke up and said you don’t like and don’t have the patience for trolling.. Making a fish bite a lure or bite a bait is a skill I will continue to try and master. It’s a tough one. I have many things to pay attention to while I am driving the boat. Sorry I didn’t give you enough attention. If I could rewind the time. I would have known how ungrateful you are and how much pampering you need. I could think of many better ways to spend a day. The sentiments are mutual. A relief comes over me knowing you will not choose Rewind on your next charter. And also, you are only the 2nd group out of 130 trips this year that chose to not tip the mate at least 15%. There is no question in my mind about your character. Grab your silver spoon and ladle some marinade over those beautiful snapper fillets. Or get someone else to do it for you. Either way, I’m sure you will enjoy!
