This was one of the most brutal fishing days I have experienced. We started in the morning with rain, at times heavy. Then the Thunderstorms rolled in and drove us off the lake for almost an hour. Then the 25+ mph winds kicked in, and the temp dropped from the low 60โs to the mid 30โs. We could not navigate the main lake and were relegated to select locations that we could access without main lake access and that were sheltered from the wind. It was rough. The weather was not our friend that day. But Dennis kept us in the hunt. He kept working, trying to find fish and get them to bite. We fished all day, ended up with very cold hands and feet and 3 small fish. I consider those three fish good for that day. Probably a testament to Dennisโ resilience and determination to not give up. All a guide can do is try to make the trip the best it can be with the hand that Mother Nature deals. Dennis did that. I am looking forward to using Dennis again in the future when conditions are more favorable.

I booked a half day trip as a birthday present for my husband. With it being chilly in the middle of October, I didnโt expect us to catch much. Boy was I so wrong! We both caught between 10 and 12 fish apiece! Dennis was an awesome guide and just a super chill, down to earth guy all around. We had such a great time and canโt wait to book another trip!
My cousin, who loves to fish, flew to Texas.ย Booked a trip with Captain Dennis at Lake Fork.ย Captain Dennis is fun and knows the lake very well.ย The boat is super nice.ย The day was perfect and the bass did not disappoint.ย I caught the biggest bass in my life.ย We are already talking about doing another fishing trip.ย What a great day!
Excellent trip with Captain Dennis. Knows the lake like the back of his hand. Professional, friendly, and consistently provides guidance on baits/technique. Would recommend him for the novice as well as the highly experienced fisher!
We couldnโt have asked for a more knowledgeable guide when it comes to Lake Fork , and fishing in General. He put in 200% effort, and was extremely kind to me and my grandson. The weather wasnโt great, but he found fish for us , and we thoroughly enjoyed the trip . If you are looking for someone who knows how to get it done with a great attitude, you wonโt go wrong here .
