Captain Daryl was a great guide to our trip. We had a blast! Fish caught, memories made. I’d totally recommend.

My 13 year old son and I enjoy fishing but have never paid for a fishing charter before. After our first trip with Captain Daryl we are hooked! The overall experience was better than what we expected. The knowledge of his craft/profession was top notch and he made sure we had fun even when there was a break in catching fish. We cant wait for our next trip with Captain Daryl (Merganzer Fishing Charters). My only complaint was with using the **hidden content** When it was time to meet up with Captain Daryl the phone number given by Fishingbroker was not correct. Luckily I was able to look up his phone number on **hidden content**

We laughed, hooted and hollered all morning… wow. Fun fishing, with sincere attention to our level of fishing. My Italian colleagues were enraptured with Daryl’s exploits and intimate knowledge of the fish, area, boating, etc.

Great day with Matt the Mongoose as mate. Super proficient, but also a people person.  Boat is perfect for this kind of day!  These guys are pros.

The Capt and his first mate Craig were great hosts. We had 2 younger kids (5&3) and they were very accommodating to them to make sure everyone had a great experience. They were highly knowledgeable about the lake and up us on good fish in 5 min. They had great sense of humor. Everything was punctual. We were able to catch several including a large Lake Trout which they helped my petite wife fight and bring in. Highly highly recommend will definitely be back!

Had a great time with Captain and his first mate Craig.  Both men are fully experienced in Salmon/Trout fishing.  While everybody knows sometimes fish are biting and sometimes they are not, these men do their best to try different techniques and baits to make it happen.  They are part of a community of other boats who communicate where the fish are biting to give those of us paying the best experience possible.  I’m an avid musky & pike fisherman so the hands on experience I fully enjoyed and truly learned new things from them.  Sit back and relax if you prefer them to do most of the work as they read through the digital graphs, or get involved, it’s up to you.  I forgot my GoPro camera on the boat and I live 2 hours away.  It took us a week to accomplish a meet up because our schedules are different, but it as safely returned.  I share this because these are trustworthy guys who truly enjoy catering to their guests while going fishing and get to Make some money in the process.  Thanks again for a full day!
