From the moment we met our guide Frank, he made us feel like family. He was genuine, warm, and truly cared about making our day on the Delta special. We were celebrating a birthday, and he even surprised us with donuts and a happy birthday greeting, which meant so much.

He shared his knowledge freely and was excited to teach us. The way he explained the techniques, tides, and fishing styles of the Delta made everything feel approachable, even for beginners. He never made us feel less experienced. Instead, he encouraged us, stayed patient, and celebrated every little victory right along with us.

The entire day was thoughtful from start to finish. He switched out our lures, set up our rods, took us to multiple fishing spots, and made sure we always had what we needed. He provided lunch, drinks, and even made sure we were comfortable taking breaks when needed. His kindness and consideration stood out the entire time.

What made the day even more memorable was his personality. He was funny, light-hearted, and felt like the friendly uncle who takes you fishing and truly wants you to learn. Even just riding in the boat felt like part of the adventure. We felt safe, relaxed, and completely at ease, so much so that one of us even fell asleep on the boat without worry.

He celebrated our wins, enjoyed the moments with us, and created an environment where we could learn, laugh, and just enjoy the experience. He taught us casting, how to feel for bites, how to set the hook, and what lures work best in different situations. There was no such thing as a silly question with him.

This was more than a fishing trip, it was a memorable, meaningful experience that we’ll never forget. We left feeling supported, encouraged, and grateful to have met someone so genuine and caring.

Capt Frank took my son and I out on our first ever fishing trip. We were both coming in with zero experience and were hoping to do some finishing (of course), but also learn some of the particulars. Frank made things really easy going, fun, but he was also very informative and knowledgeable about not just finishing in general, but specially the local delta area. He was exceptionally patient with us, tangled lines and all! At the end of our trip, we left with great memories and tons of photos of all the fish we caught! It was a great outing! Frank was an awesome guide.  He communicated well before the trip to make sure everything was coordinated.  He was well organized and punctual.  When we got on the water he explained clearly the plan for the day and why based on the tides and how the water was moving why we were going to different parts of the delta and what baits were hitting and why.  His boat is a 21’ Triton and is well set up and maintained, he had roads and baits for anything you could want to do and most importantly we caught fish!  Great guide, great setup, great day!  I highly recommend Captain Frank and Delta Bassn’.

Booked a 6 hour fishing trip with Captain Frank.  I wanted to hangout and do some fishing with my son.  Capt Frank was not only an awesome guide but a great fishing coach as well.  My son and I were rookies fishing the Delta but Capt Frank turned us to experts!  I lost count of how many fish we caught midway through the trip.  I asked Capt Frank for a memorable day for my son and I,  And he pulled through.  Highly recommend his service.  We will definitely be back.

Took my Son and his buddy on this trip for his 15th bday. I sat back and let Captain Frank do all the talking. Sure enough, those boys were reeling them in as fast as the next kid could cast. Frank was great, the boat was great. Highly recommend this trip. Having some fishing experience will help you on this trip, but none is needed. Great trip!
