What a fishing day for this young gentlemen. Three type of fish caught: Lake Trout, King salmon and Atlantic salmon. Laker and Atlantic went back to swim.
On Friday April 14th, 2023 my 10 year old son and I had an awesome adventure with Captain Bob in his boat on Lake Ontario! It was our first time fishing for big fish and boy were we successful. We had 4 on the line and brought 3 lake trout into the boat (10 lb, 8 lb & 5 lb).
We canโt wait to book another charter with Captain Bob this summer to catch salmon!

Had an amazing time out on the lake with Bob catching salmon and trout. We caught three fish two salmon and one trout which was great considering that it is the end of the season (mid October) and the conditions were tough. Captain Bob assured us that he would try his best to put us on some fish. His experience really showed when the bites started to explode. In between landing our three fish we had wonderful conversations, took pictures of the cityโs skyline, and just enjoyed being out on the water. If I could pass on any advice it would be to make sure youโre prepared for the day with possible rain jackets if thereโs a chance of rain and waterproof shoes, they really made a difference. To sum up the experience this was the best fishing charter Iโve been on so far and will book again if I get the chance.

It was interesting to fish with experienced Florida fisherman Kaylee. Fresh water lake is no match with Florida sea waters comparing total biomass.ย Lake Ontario healthy salmon and trout population attract many anglers from all over the world. This was our first time experiencing deep lake fishing and we must admit it was quite enthralling. Captain Bob was thoroughly professional and his experience shines through when talking about all things lakes and fish. He helped us land a near record 25-pound King Salmon, which we had to set free since it was considered spawning size. However the entire adventure was truly worth it, starting with palpable excitement, conversation moments, moments of frustration and finally the big reel at the end. I would recommend Captain Bobโs services particularly for the value for money and knowledge that comes with it.
