Captain Keith helped us to have a spectacular day on the sea.ย His experience was shared with us as we learned how to fish for the big ones.ย He chatted up our son and they shared their knowledge of the fish with each other.ย Captain Keith was patient and helped us to reel in some fun catches.ย Weโve been on guided trips in Canada and the Bahamas. My husband and son rated this one the best!ย We hope to make it back to Seward again and we will definitely be back for more fishing with Captain Keith!

There was only 4 of us and we had fun.ย The two women were very comfortable with the boat and the Captain.ย Was our trip perfect , of course not but everyone has a good time and maybe the Captain did too.ย This was supposed to be a 9 hour trip and we were very close to that mark.ย We had about 1 hour cruise to and from the fishing spot. So about 7 hours of wet lines. We had 15 salmon between us including one pink and one king.

This was our first time out in the ocean fishing like this as a tour. Not knowing what to expect but to have a lot more excitement and motivation from our captain but unfortunately not really receiving it from this trip. When we first got on the boat the captain was super welcoming and wanted to know more about us and we also wanted to know more about him but after that it was more of it seems he got tired of us or maybe he was just tired at the end of the day and it seems like he was rushing us. The trip didnโt feel like 9hrs and we probably got back an hour and 1/2 early.

Sorry to hear that you felt that way and I wish you would have said something on the boat. I checked my log and the day was actually about 9:45 so a little longer than planned. Any way thanks for the review
We had a great day catching halibut with Captain Keith Washburn of Fantasea Fishing Charter at Seward, Alaska.ย Captain Keith was very cordial and thorough explaining the rules of his boat and how to fish for halibut. One member of our group landed a 74 lb halibut! The rest of us had the thrill of landing our limit.ย We will definitely book a future fishing trip with Captain Keith.

Captain Keith with Fantasea Charters is fantastic! He kept us on the fish and made the trip entertaining. He gave us all the tips we needed to land fish, and offered encouragement as needed. The other guys on the boat were fantastic as well. We all caught our limit of halibut, and we had a great time! We can not recommend Fantasea Charters and Captain Keith enough. I highly recommend him!
