We had excellent weather and cruised out for 2 1/2 hours. Our group of 5 all caught halibut over 28” and one under. Weights of the larger ones we kept were estimated at 25-40#, and while trying to catch smaller ones to fill our limits we each caught another large one including one of about 80#, all released per regulations. We had no problems with gear, the boat was fine, and our captain did a good job getting us on the halibut and getting the fish in the boat. One nice yellow eye was also taken. Back on shore, my fish was filleted and ready by the time I arranged to have the fillets packaged and frozen for shipment. I totally enjoyed the trip and was pleased with the quality of service. The booking service made the arrangements easy. I rated it not suitable for kids, bot older kids would probably do fine. It can get hectic when there are two or three fish on at once!

It was a great day of fishing. No complaints we all caught halibut and salmon.

The captain was friendly, but could have used a mate for some assistance.  He gave us extra time beyond our 4 hours.  We only had 2 rods out for 6 people,  which was disappointing.  The boat was a little tight for 6 people. Overall we had a nice day.
