Great trip, caught lots of fish, Captain Keith was fantastic!
Iโve been on more fishing trips around the country than I can count with different charters and captains. I booked this trip in early February with my fiance. This was by far hands down the best experience Iโve ever had with a fishing guide/charter. Captain Keith is such a kind, outgoing and knowledgeable gentleman that keeps his boat and equipment well maintained and in tip top shape. I was very impressed to say the absolute least. It was so fun and we caught plenty of good eating fish including some nice bull Reds. Capt Keith recommended we take our catch to โThe Salty Pelicanโ to get some of our fish prepared for us for dinner and it turned out fantastic! We will be joining him again for future trips! 100% recommend.

I had previously booked a short fishing trip for my grandchildren which was cancelled due to bad weather. Captain Keith had kindly given me a rain check which I used for other family visitors from the UK. We had a very pleasant trip past Fort Clinch, across to Cumberland Island and then settled in to fish in the middle of the sound. Captain Keith was very attentive to all four of us inexperienced fishermen/women; baiting, rebaiting and ocassionally reeling in, as needed. We caught a medley of 20 fish over 2 hours, including whiting; trout, black sea bass, catfish and sting rays (3!). Towards, the end of the trip, we hooked a magnificent tarpon which took all of our line and proved too much for the 30 lb test. Captain Keith was a delightful host. His boat was ideal for our group. We had a really enjoyable time and Captain Keith will be firmly โtop of the listโ for fun activities when we have visitors to Amelia Island in the future.

What a day on the water!!! My daughter caught a shark, my oldest son a huge Blackdrum, and my third child accidentally hooked a sea turtle. We got to see it up close before it shimmied loose of the hook and swam away. My other boys caught several Whitey fish. We will be eating good tonight! Keith was amazing! His experience fishing( heโs lived here his entire life) and his experience as a father, served us well. He was just as awesome with my 7 year old, as he was my 19 year old daughter. If youโre looking to go fishing while youโre in the island, choose Keith. Heโs a class act operation. We loved our time on the water!!!
