I’ve been on a few charters, never in search of marlin though. Andy worked his butt off and the captain did his job from the helm. We hooked into a blue marlin double, landing one and the other popping the swivel. It was a great experience all around. Andy (first mate) kept us entertained with conversation of his world travels and history of the Dominican Republic, all while working his butt off to keep the baits fresh and gear tangle free. When we hooked up, the captain was right on top of it, helping to direct everyone on board of what to do. They recognized my level of skill and let me do all that I wanted. When fighting the fish they allowed me the level of respect I hoped for, understanding that I knew the drag and slack, along with reeling down. It was our first trip to the Dominican, usually we go to Mexico. If we get back in the next couple of years I will definitely book with them again!

What an amazing day we had! Everything with this company was smooth and easy. Payment, communication, pick up and drop off at hotel was smooth and easy. The boat was in immaculate condition. The first mate, Andy was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Andy made sure to help when needed but would also allow you to do things on your own when you wanted to. We didn’t catch any big fish but had a great time and caught 7 medium sized fish (3 different species). Thank you Andy for making our day so enjoyable!!

My friends are going next month and will be booking the same experience. We were sad not to catch anything, but that is the nature of the sport. Andy was a great first mate. We trolled the entire time which was a new experience for me. Bait was changed every 1/2 hour. Andy told us many stories about the island and taught my 15 year old many things about deep sea fishing.
Short trip (4 hours) but caught a bunch of fish and then cooked our catch (mahi mahi) at the restaurant on the beach. Now that’s fresh fish!
It was a little snotty in the begin. Turned around and caught Mahi! Crew amazing! Perfect day fishing.
