While it was not a great day for fishing, no birds on the water, no weeds, hot and flat, it was a good trip none the less. i have never seen a crew work so hard to get us fish! Despite the conditions, we hooked about 8 or 9 but lack of our own experience caused us to lose most. We got a 3 foot + barracuda to the back of the boat before it flipped off, and boated a small blackfin tuna and 2 nice yellow fin jack. Captain Charlton gave some pointers to our crew to help turn “fish on” into a catch and we started getting lucky. They gave us a full 4 hours fishing because he didn’t want us to have a poor experience. He and his mate were first rate, my sons and grandsons thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I would definitely go out with them again!
