Had an amazing day with Capt. Charleton and crew on the Chubasco VI! Smooth and easy taxi ride from the cruise port after we got off the ship. After trolling for a little over two hours with no luck/ dodging a storm, Capt. Charleton suggested we switch things up and head to the reefs for some light trolling but before heading to the reefs there were a flock of birds circling nearby and we caught a few tunas before heading the reefs where the bite was on 🔥. Barracuda, a hound fish, yellow tail snapper and a reef shark! If you’re looking for a great charter when visiting the Bahamas make sure you check them out!

We had the most amazing time with this charter! They were all so kind, beyond helpful and so friendly! When we return to the Bahamas, we will absolutely be booking them again! We caught 7 different species of fish in just a four trip and loved every second of it! I would give them 20 stars if I could
Thanks for the great review Kyle. We’re glad you enjoyed your trip and we look forward to fishing with you again soon.
1. Bring your own bag full of ice for any fish you want to keep.
We did pretty well for a half day. Four assorted snapper and one full size barracuda. The boat was in good shape and the Capt. and mate were both very nice. We trolled for a couple hours, getting nothing, and then came in shore to grab the fish we did.
Our only misgiving is that we did not plan ahead with what we were going to do with our catch and the capt. and mate were not really forthcoming with ideas on where we could go to get any fish we wanted to keep cleaned and/or cooked. They acted as though noone had ever asked them to keep something that they had caught, which seemed rather weird, given the fact that they must be asked that question on a near daily basis.
It is our mistake for not having this aspect planned out. We had a couple snapper that would have made for some great eating.
Otherwise, it was a great family event and our 13 year old loved bringing in his cuda.

Great day on the water with Captain Mike, excellent and knowledgeable first mate who is very helpful. Fun for the family looking for some offshore fishing and great memories. Excellent pickup and drop off location at Margaritaville if you are staying on Paradise Island. I would highly recommend this boat, crew and Captain.
The captain and mate worked very hard trying to find fish. We went off shore after Mahi Mahi but did nothing. It was extremely rough so we moved closer to shore where we caught 5 yellow tail snapper and a Spanish Mackeral. We lost a huge grouper because the captain had set the drag too tight to try to pull it out of a hole . When it came out it ran and snapped the line . The boat needs some work- the fighting chair is in deplorable condition. We could only troll three line’s because one of the outriggers was broken. One of the fishing poles was all taped up with white tape because it looked like it was broken
