Great experience for myself, wife and grandson. He was a good teacher and very professional. Know the good spots and got hits as soon as we dropped the lines.

Captain Buddy is a real gentleman who knows fishing and fish. He has the experience to know when to go where as conditions change, I was very impressed with his knowledge of the water around Marathon. I have been fishing for 50 years and Captain Buddy taught me a few new tricks. Will be back to do this again.

Captain Buddy LaPointe knows his stuff - and he’s just a great guy! My two boys and I really enjoyed our full day trip with him. We did some flat lining, reef and wreck fishing, catching a nice variety of fish - Amberjack, Almaco jack, margate, yellowtail snapper, vermilion snapper, cobia and even a shark. The scenery and the clear blue water was amazing, and the fish we caught (and Buddy filleted) made a delicious dinner for our family!

My daughter and I booked a 3/4 day trip with Captain Buddy.  We experienced the best fishing we ever had in our lives.  Captain Buddy knew where the fish were and we wasted no time catching them.  We caught way more fish than we could ever eat and had a great time doing it.  Captain Buddy is a great captain and an all around great guy.  If you’re looking for someone to take you fishing then look no further. We will definitely be back.

Excellent day fishing with Captain Buddy.  Extremely nice guy and extremely knowledgeable about fishing too.  We caught over nine species of fish and moved around when needed to find the bite.  He was very patient with my kids and made the day very memorable for all.
