Pros - Friendly and helpful staff, good service before and after the trip, great experience for the budget. Mark had some great stories and fishermanโs tales. Our group appreciated talking to both him and Capt. Pete.
Cons - The interior of the boat seems to be stuck in 1970s and is in need of repair/resurfacing. The A/C, as advertised, did not work at all .The crew said it was a bad generator. Thankfully it was a overcast day else the sweltering heat and humidity would have steamed us. I tried to be as realistic about it but the the toilet needed some help too.
Another little peeve was the request for the remaining balance and the tip upfront. I understand requesting the remaining balance upfront as you can possibly get some โfish-n-dashโ folks, but asking for the tip as part of the introduction seemed a little eager. When was the last time you tipped your ride-share driver or waiter before any service was provided ?
We caught very little but that is not their fault at all. All boats that day seemed to catch very little. Infact, we wouldnโt have known what to do would the fish had we caught a lot more.
All in all, I would recommend them to others who are looking for an economical little fun excursion on the sea, but not to someone has a very high expectation of a fishing experience. It served me well :)
