Captain Charlie was just the grooviest! 10/10 would highly recommend! His first mate wasn't available and Captain Charlie was just on top of it! Definitely coming back!!

Our family had an amazing charter fishing experience with Charlie at Average Guy Adventure! Charlie was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and hardworking. Even with his first mate unavailable, he ran the entire operation flawlessly and never missed a beat. The boat was ready to go before we arrived, he even filleted and bagged our fish to order. He was fantastic with my 11-year-old Granddaughter (who now espiers to be his 1st Mate) and the rest of our family. His professionalism, patience, and passion for what he does made this a trip we’ll never forget. Highly recommended!!

Captain Charlie was up front about conditions, our strategy that day, and explained the inversions in the water and a lot of the why for our fish search. We ended up finding fish where he thought they’d be and others who called him up were soon on the horizon and benefiting from Charlie’s strategy. He was incredible with our kids who each reeled in a couple fish, he was easy to talk to, and we helped him when we could since he was solo that day. Taught me a bit about the various setups, was patient with tangled lines if they happened, and made the day a great one. Looking forward to next year or sooner.
Captain Blish and his team were great both day of and leading up to the trip. The lake temperatures were warmer than normal because of the prevailing south winds. This made the fishing a little slow, but we ended up with more hits than most of the other boats out on the water. This showed their understanding of the lake and their determination to get you hooked on as many fish as possible. Will book with them again.
