Capt Matt was great. We had rainy weather and Matt made the most of your day. We caught 26 fish and every one had a good time. I would book with Matt again on our future trips to Morehead City

I know it’s not the Captain’s fault, but the fish were just not there. He did tell me beforehand that he would have the bait ready, but he didn’t, and he spent a lot of time casting a net for bait. Only five bait fish were caught. We did catch a couple of sharks, but nothing like we were expecting. Zero fish for the cooler. That was disappointing. But again everywhere we went the fish weren’t there. I don’t know if it was the time of year or what , but again it wasn’t to Captain‘s fault.
It was certainly a tough morning. Sometimes it’s impossible to fill the cooler in such a short trip. Thanks for understanding.
Captain Matt did a great job of taking care of us. The summer time winds were in full effect so we stayed inshore. We caught bluefish, flounder and a shark. Matt even filleted up the bluefish we kept and gave me some cooking ideas, which resulted in some great tasting fresh fish. Matt was such a professional, we booked a follow up "Eco Tour" with him for the entire family later in the week. Horses were seen, sandbars were played on, and sand dollars were found.
Had a great time with Captain Matt! Very cool and relaxed dude! We had an awesome day out on the water. Caught a variety of fish! Me and my uncle caught about 30 sharks within a 3 hour window and it was absolutely awesome! Highly recommend going with Matt! We plan on going out with him again on our next years trip!
This is our second trip with Captain Matt!! First was a fishing trip and and today was a leisure trip seeing the wild horses, dolphins, collecting sand dollars and just enjoying being on the beautiful water!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Captain Matt!!!! We had the best time and will certainly be back for another trip soon!!!!!
