  Great Guide & Beautiful Scenery

  Ben was extremely knowledgeable, patient, great with my daughter and laser focused on catching fish. His 20ft boat was roomy and outfitted with the lastest tech for boat control and fish finding. We only caught one, but mackinaw in July are phinicky biters requiring significant finess and skill (so I learned). However, Ben clearly did the best with what nature gave us. We missed five, some our fault, some to bad luck. If I were to book again, I'd aim for just after ice off or just before ice on when they are a little more aggressive. Again, still a fun time and I learnd a lot about mackinaw. My only observed area for improvement was the equipment/tackle condition and boat orgnization. One pole had a broken tip and the other spinning reel only worked as right-hand reel. He also noticed one reel wasn't spooled full, but didn't have any line to remedy it. I don't think it truly affected results but just one "attention-to-detail" thing I noted. I would definitely book again and recommend Ben for Twin Lakes.

  We had an absolute blast on this charter! The captain had top-of-the-line equipment, everything was set up perfectly, and you could tell he really knew the lake inside and out. His knowledge and experience made all the difference he consistently put us right on big lake trout. It was an awesome experience from start to finish, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day on the ice. Highly recommend!

  Captain was cool and we caught our limit

  We had the pleasure of having Wade as our captain. We had a great time and caught our limit. Meet up at the marina and went out to the spot. First line that went down immediately had a fish on. Wade taught us a few things about fishing and told us about the guided hunting trips that has us very intrigued. We did the 11 Mile fishing guide. Will definitely be back for the Trophy Fishing Guide at Turquoise Lake and hopefully a hunting trip some day.

  Our family had such a great trip. We caught the max amount of fish & was able to catch & release so many more. Our guide Eric knew where the best fishing areas were & did a great job at what he does. You can tell he loves his job 💕
