Everyone had a great time and the captain worked hard to get us on the fish all day. We had two young kids (8 and 6) with us as we didn't know quite what to expect. They didn't get to do much but had a good time nonetheless. We ended up catching 5 Striped Bass in total.
My family and I had an awesome trip with Captain Charles on our recent vacation to Cape Cod. We initially had booked a full day tuna charter, but because of weather and other commitments we had to pivot to a half-day striper charter. From the get go Captain Charles was excellent. As soon as we stepped on the boat, he put us at ease and was very engaging. Maybe more importantly Captain Charles put us on fish right away and within 2 to 3 minutes of getting our lines wet, each of my son, his buddy, and I were all reeling in our first stripers.  An important distinction that I’d want to point out for people looking to engage a charter or guide, Captain Charles does not simply trawl or bottom fish. Rather, we were casting top water and catching a significant amount of striper while they would breach and attack our top water lures.  All five of us caught multiple good sized striper larger than 30 inches with the largest being just about 40 inches. The cherry on top for our trip came towards the end of our adventure. While moving to our last fishing spot, we spotted two separate instances of mako sharks attacking stripers. The most impressive came when a mako took half of a striper, circled our boat a couple of times and then breached on the remaining half of the striper about 20 yards from the boat. it was amazing! We will be back again and will book a charter with Captain Charles. We can’t wait to finally get our tuna charter on the books!by

We had an amazing trip with Sea Charters Sportfishing. The captain and crew were true experts, worked incredibly hard, and put us on a massive bluefin tuna. It was an unforgettable experience, and I’d absolutely recommend them. One thing I think is helpful for first-time tuna fishermen to know is what happens if you catch a tuna larger than 73 inches. Under the regulations, the fish must be sold, and you won’t get to keep any of the meat. As first timers for fishing Bluefin, We weren’t aware of that beforehand, so I just wanted to mention it so future customers know what to expect before booking. Other than that, the trip was outstanding, and the crew was fantastic.
Captain Charles was perfect. Beautiful half day on the water. Lots of strippers. Boat was perfect for six adults and ride was very smooth!

Captain was patient with my 3 boys and wife making sure everyone caught some fiah and learned alot. Casting plugs to huge striped bass is exciting and this is one boat on the cape that excells at letting charters experience it. Way more fun than trolling.
