Had a great time out on the boat with Mike - very knowledge and put us directly on the fish. We ended up catching trout and grunt that he cleaned for us and recommended a restaurant where we had it cooked over at the Wharf. Very enjoyable time with everything prepared and ready for us. Would recommend!
Captain Mike did a great job for me and my 2 sons. He was very well prepared, he had extensive knowledge of the area, and was able to put us on some fish even in non favorable weather conditions! This is where it pays off to have an experienced guide! He also has a passion for fishing that he simply can’t hide. This makes a difference too! He’s not just out there to get a pay check! He loves it! We caught at least one of every species fish he has advertised! With a few extras! Snook, Redfish, and Sea Trout mainly! You can’t go wrong with this guy! We will definitely book again!
Myself, my husband, and my adult son all took a charter for 2 hours with Mike. It was a wonderful experience and we had a great time! First of all, although we were initially slated to arrive on time, because of last-minute traffic in the area, we ended up being late. Mike was very cool and understanding about that. He immediately got us out into the water where we started catching fish. He took care of everything we needed, baiting the hooks, casting, and giving tips to help us fish on our own. He would relocate the boat if it seemed like an area was going cold. It was obvious his main goal was to get us to pull some fish in the boat! He also was very interesting to talk to, and interacted with us the whole time. Honestly, I could not have asked for a better day for the few hours that we had out on the water. I wish it could’ve been longer! We had a wonderful time, caught plenty of fish, and thoroughly enjoyed our time on the boat! Highly highly recommend Mike, he is fantastic!
Mike is an exceptional guide! He communicated early to make sure we found him and got aboard the boat. He took us right to where the fish were! My wife and I lost count of how many we reeled in! Mike made sure our hooks always had bait on them and helped us with removing the hooks when we made a catch. We caught several species and even caught a black tip shark! My wife caught two mackerels that were keeper size! Mike fileted them on the boat for us and put them on ice so we could take them in to town and have them cooked up! It was a great experience and we would definitely do it again and recommend Mike to our friends!
we tried to make this trip a couple years ago but unfortunately didnt work out because of weather and Capt Mike didnt want my son’s first trip to be ruined with wind. finally had a chance to redo today and it did not dissapoint. Capt Mike was fantastic, got us on fish as soon as we got out and helped make this an incredible first trip for my 8 yo. would highly recommend and will be rebooking when back in town.
Great day. weather a little iffy but turned out awesome. Capt Mike kept on top of the fish all day. Snook and Trout Even caught back to back Monster Trout in one area. Flounder Jack Ladyfish. my nephew hooked a tarpon for a brief moment. Saw some dolphins rays and a couple of bonnet heads. We would do it all over again. Captain mike is super knowledgeable and friendly and keeps em coming.
