Capt Maryann and First mate Jameson were top notch. Despite the choppy seas offshore to start the morning, we had a double hookup of Mahi pretty quick. They worked together seamlessly to keep us on fish as we trolled the entire trip. We brought home a full box despite a couple of mistakes on my part and one Barracuda (sorry you lost your favorite lure Jameson). At one point during another double hookup, several more Mahi followed up to the boat and that was really fun. I highly recommend this boat and this team. Jameson worked his tail off for us on deck, as did the Captain in finding the fish. We will charter w/them again!

    A Must Do Again!

    My husband and I went on a six hour tour. Maryann, the captain was very knowledgeable about the waters and really tried diligently to find fish for us to catch. Maryann was very personal and courteous. Jayson the mate was outstanding. He was ready and willing to assist. Jayson, was very knowledgeable and courteous. We caught two large barracudas, tuna, yellowtail reds, and a spade fish. Even though some had to be returned to the water, the day of fishing was a success because of the amazing captain and mate being very patient and persistent.

    We had an absolute A+ experience with Boa Vida Charters yesterday — honestly, the best fishing charter we’ve ever done! Our goal was simple: catch some Mahi. We ended up with an incredible day, pulling in about 15 fish total, including 6 beautiful Mahi, a Barracuda, a Bonita, and several others. The action was nonstop and so much fun. Captain Mary Ann and First Mate Shaun were outstanding. They’re both incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely fun to be around. They worked seamlessly together and made sure we had the best possible experience from start to finish. What really stood out was the personal touch. At the end of the day, Shaun filleted our Mahi for us and even recommended a fantastic local raw bar that specializes in catch-and-cook. We took our fresh fish straight there and had one of the best meals of our trip! If you’re thinking about booking a charter, hands down choose Boa Vida. This team truly cares about making your day unforgettable. We couldn’t recommend them more highly — you’ll leave with full coolers and even bigger smiles. Thank you, Mary Ann and Shaun!     My boys and I chartered with Boa Vida because of all the great reviews that Maryann gets. We’ve done this once before down in Mexico and to say our experiences were different would be an understatement! To start, we all caught several fish. The boat was way nicer and Maryann and Eric were great, very personable. Mexico Captain hardly said a word to us and we only caught 2 fish. We would recommend booking with Maryann/Boa Vida to anyone!

    Maryann and Sean were absolutely awesome in every aspect. We had another trip cancelled with a different captain the prior day and fortunately there was an opening for a 6 hour trip the next day with Boa Vida. The boat was really nice and you could tell they took pride in taking care of it and the all the fishing gear. We started off targeting some yellowtails to get some dinner first and pretty quickly for about 10 keepers along with a few others. We then set out to troll in deeper waters in hopes of catching some bigger fish. Both my son and daughter , 10 and 13, caught blackfin tuna and they were really excited about that. It definitely took some patience, but Maryann and Sean did everything they could to make sure both kids got something they could feel good about. They were great with the kids and super friendly to chat with. I would book with them in a heartbeat next time we're in town and would recommend to anyone else looking for a fun time fishing in Key West

    We had a fantastic day on the water with Captain Maryann and first mate Ryan. Both were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about fishing. We were hoping to catch some mahi and knew it could be a tough time of year, but they worked hard and delivered. We ended the day with three mahi and a skipjack. Captain MaryAnn and Ryan also gave excellent recommendations for catch-and-cook spots and other restaurants to visit before leaving the Keys, and every single recommendation was spot-on. We highly recommend booking with Boa Vida. They truly care about their clients and go above and beyond to make the experience memorable. An amazing charter from start to finish!
