Spent a great day on the water with my brother and Cpt. Joe. Weather wasn’t the best and we couldn’t get out in the Ocean, so we fished the inlet. Cpt. Joe worked to put us on fish. We caught some fish and had a great time. Will be scheduling our next trip with Cpt Joe in the near future.
Captain Joe was the best! He can definitely read the room and adapt to his guests ( we are not an expereinced fishing family but our 7 year old is a budding enthusiast ). We took our family of four on his boat this afternoon and it was fun for the whole family. The Captain was patient, humerous, and an overall good guy (also very well informed about the area, all the fishing spots to hit, and everything else we were curious about). Our 7 year old peppered Captain Joe with questions and our almost 4 year old had a few too to he handled with ease. The boat is well equipped and we did bait and lure fishing both in deep waters and closer to the slip. The captain instructed and helped our 7 year old cast out and reel up the catches. We caught 9 fish and took 7 home for dinner including a really great flounder. We got to see sharks in the water too. We’d book this boat again!!
Captain Joe was amazing on Fish Finder III. We orginally booked on a windy day. He recommended waiting a day and luckily they had an available slot. Our trip was perfect. We started at a reef near shore and caught 5 smaller sharks and 15+ sea bass, a hog fish and a ring tail. We moved further out in the ocean and found a school of spade fish. We caught 7 or more spades, a few sea bass and a flounder. We kept 4 of the spade fish and 1 was large enough to make the board for the largest catch this season. It weighed 6.22 pounds and was 17 inches. Captain Joe cleaned our fish and recommended a fantastic restuarant to cook the fish for us. We will definitely book with Joe again!
We had an amazing charter with Capt Joe. Capt Joe was super personable and made sure we had a great experience. He was super knowledgeable about the area and the fish. We caught a bunch of fish and even some that we had never seen or heard of. I can’t say enough good things about this trip. A huge thank you to Capt Joe and the FishFinder III.
Conditions weren't the greatest and Joe gave us the option of a refund or still go out and give it a try. We decided to give it a shot anyways. Started out a little tough trying to find some bait and having a slow start to fishing. Joe was persistent and kept us moving and trying to find us some action. We eventually found some fish and everyone enjoyed the day. Joe gets the job done and makes sure you have a good time. He's a good guy and a great captain. Although he is a Bears fan, we didn't hold it against him.
Booked this fishing charter for my two boys and myself on our spring break vacation, and it was an absolute blast. Experience could not have been better. Captain was very knowledgeable and was great with my boys. We were able to catch a huge bonito, and it just made my sons year! When we come back to the area we will for sure be booking with him again! If you're looking for a great fishing trip, look no further. Just book it! Thanks again captain!
