Horrible day weather catching fish Mother Nature was cooperating . But both worked hard to find fish and to get them on the line. We ended up with fish at the end of the charter. Any day on the water is a good day! Had a great time !
We had an amazing time fishing with Captain Kent and his wife. They’ve been doing this for over 20 years, and it shows. As complete rookies, we lost our first four fish, but thanks to their patient coaching and encouragement, we landed the next five. The highlight of the trip was a 26.2 pound king salmon, and we also caught a beautiful lake trout. At the end of the trip, they professionally filleted our catch and packaged everything in Ziploc bags, so it was easy to bring home. Their knowledge, professionalism, and friendly attitude made the experience unforgettable. If you’re looking for a great day on the water with a crew that truly cares, we highly recommend Captain Kent and his wife.

I booked the trip for my family of three, including my 9 year old. We have basically zero experience fishing except for catching small fish from a dock. Captain Gerry and First Mate Tara were incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and fun to be around. They made our first offshore fishing trip a truly memorable experience. We will definitely be rebooking again soon! I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested.

The captain and first mate were great! They took time to show us the ropes and we had a great time. Caught some good salmon and trout even in the afternoon. 100% due to the captains knowledge and willingness to put in the work.

Gerald with 20+ years fishing in lake ontario is an excellent captain. his knowledge of where the fish will be was excellent. We reached iur limit of salmon in a few hours. highly recommended

Well what can I say, let’s start off by saying the fishing trip was awesome, the main reason was to spend time with my sons. The fishing was icing on the cake. Meeting up with Gerald and heading out to the lake started off great. Gerald has a ton of experience on Lake Ontario and fishing. The first mate was a very knowledgeable person and got things set every fast. The boat was great, Gerald did inform me before we went out the it might be a bumming ride, turn out to be nice. I was the first to catch a fish then my oldest and then my youngest landed one but it came off. Gerald knowledge of the lake kept us going over fish but they weren’t biting for some reason. That’s why they call it fishing and not catching. Over all it was a great experience and me and the boys had an awesome time. I will be setting up another fishing trip with Gerald later on. I highly recommend the Rod Benders boat for a great experience and a fun time. Looking forward another time out on the lake with the Captain and first mate of the Rod Benders fishing charter.
