Captain Rogel and Dilson were awesome guides for the day. Dilson dove for conchs so we could have conch cevice with lunch. This trip was for my 11 year old daughter as she loves to fish. We caught about 15 fish, mostly snapper, and barracuda. Lunch was delicious. We loved the day so much that we went out for another day of fishing before we left.
took a half day trip with Dilson and Melvin, and had so much fun! we caught dozens of snappers, swam with Manatees, and caught a few barracuda including a big one! the crew quickly fileted the fish, and they were delicious blackened and fried at a local restaurant. what a great first fishing experience for our whole family! highly recommended
Our group of four fished a half day, not with Rogel, but with Dilzon and Joe. We specified that we only wanted to do bottom/reef fishing so that we could all fish at the same time, and did not care to do any trolling. Our group had been on too many trolling trips in the past that were little more than boat rides. They were willing to accommodate us and it worked out well. We were all able to fish at the same time, and caught a variety of species, including enough for two great meals. Additional highlights were a 4-1/2 or 5 foot nurse shark and a beautiful queen triggerfish.
Great crew, amazing fishing, and many memories. Caught many fish including an huge barracuda. The capitan and crew were very funny and good. The highlight was the barracuda. The trip was best for my son who caught the barracuda. Before booking you should be ready to catch many fish and have a good time.
Captain Sanchez took us right to the fish and moved around to keep up with the fish. We caught and kept 36 fish consisting of various snapper and yellow tail. He baited our lines and cleaned our fish to cook back at our rental. He is a very experienced captain and we enjoyed our time with him. We had a great new year and even shared beers with him at the new years celebration. We will definitely be booking him for more adventures. He does his best to ensure you are having a great time. Can't say enough good things about him. Highly recommend!
Capt. Rogel was on time and ready to go. My son 13yrs old and I had an excellent half day reef fishing. We are both avid fisherman and know how to handle a rod and reel. Rogel put us on a lot of fish, snapper specifically. We apprecited how if the spot didnt feel right Capt Rogel would move quickly to another spot. He filleted the fish for us after it was caught, and we had a great lunch at Rum Dog where they cook up your catch!
