We booked a half-day inshore trip and from the start, it felt like we were in great hands. The crew was experienced, adaptable, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. After an initial attempt at catching live bait, they quickly adjusted the plan, got us on skipjack, and turned it into an incredible opportunity. That led to a true bucket list moment. We hooked into a rooster fish that put up an unbelievable fight. The captain coached us through it and managed everything perfectly to make sure we didn’t lose the fish. It was an incredible experience from start to finish. We were able to get photos and safely release it, which made it even better. Beyond the fishing, the entire experience was top notch. The crew was friendly and attentive, providing drinks, snacks, fresh fruit, and even hummus and vegetables. The boat was clean and the perfect size for our family of four, with a shaded area up front that made it comfortable for everyone. The scenery along the Costa Rican coastline was stunning, with massive rock formations rising out of the water. Booking was easy, communication was clear, and everything was exactly as promised. If you are considering a fishing trip in this area, this is the one to book. We would absolutely do it again.
