Sea to Table Magical Experience 🦑

4 Hour Trip – Squid Game Fishing - 2:00 PM4 adults2 children

One of the best experiences our family ever had — and I mean that. We booked a squid fishing excursion with Vittorio Milano out of Praiano, and it exceeded every expectation. Vittorio was communicative from the very first message, making planning easy and giving us full confidence in what to expect. On the day of the excursion, he was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely wonderful company — warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about sharing his craft. What set this experience apart was what happened after the fishing: Vittorio brought our fresh catch to his family's restaurant, Trattoria San Gennaro, and had it cooked for our dinner. Farm-to-table has nothing on sea-to-table in Praiano. The meal was extraordinary, and sitting down to eat something we had pulled from the water just hours earlier, in this beautiful corner of southern Italy, was truly magical. In two weeks of traveling through Italy — a country full of once-in-a-lifetime moments — this excursion stood out as the highlight. I cannot recommend Vittorio highly enough. If you're on the Amalfi Coast, make this a priority.

    Praiano fishing

    8 Hour Trip – Fishing Experience • 5 adults

    I took my family on a charter with Captain Vittorio Milano while visiting Italy and it was a fantastic experience. We wanted to catch a giant squid which he hooked us up on, then we moved in closer to shore and bottom fished where we caught Sgambro (Italian mackerel) orata and Boga (types of sea bream). After the trip we met his family and his mother prepared some fantastic Italian dishes from our catch. It was a memorable experience for my family that we will always cherish. I recommend that if you ever visit the Sorrento/Praiano area and like to fish you give him a call. He grew up there and knows the waters.

    Full day fishing by Praiano

    8 Hour Trip – Fishing Experience • 4 adults

    Local captain Vittorio provided the best fishing experience for our entire family. Our all-day private charter included squid fishing to depths of over 600m, casting topwater into schools of bonito, and trolling for sea bream and amberjack. He graciously provided a delicious lunch and refreshments as well as several opportunities to cool off swimming and snorkeling into various caves. Later that evening, we enjoyed our catch in Praiano at his family’s beautiful restaurant overlooking the Amalfi coast. This amazing day is one we will never forget. Grazie Captain Vittorio!

    Wonderful Time

    4 Hour Trip – Sunset Fishing • 3 adults

    Our family of three thoroughly enjoyed our fishing trip. We were able to catch mahi-mahi and the family restaurant cooked the fish for us the next evening. The captain is kind and laid back and the restaurant was more than happy to take good care of us. The cost to cook the fish was very reasonable and the view is spectacular. Don’t hesitate to book the fishing experience.

    Worth going to the Amalfi coast just for this fishing experience

    Ican't say enough good things about this trip. My 8 year old son and I came by ourselves specifically to catch squid. It's August, which is low season for fishing here, but we still managed to catch a few squid. Vittorio was an amazing captain, very knowledgeable and hospitable. My son and I have decided that every time we come to Caserta to visit the cousins, we will make a day and night to stay in Marina di Praia and go fishing with Captain Vittorio. Truly an amazing experience through and through. 10/10
