We had a wonderful morning fishing charter in early April in Bokeelia, Florida with Herb Hoffmann. Herb was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole trip easy and enjoyable. He knew the area well, put us on fish, and created a relaxed, fun experience on the water. Highly recommend Herb for anyone looking for a great fishing trip in Bokeelia.

We fished the Boca Pass with about 50 other boats. Not one fish was landed on any boat all day! There were fish everywhere, but they weren't interested in eating. Captain Herb tried everything including going to other locations and fishing nearly an hour longer than we paid for, but it was just one of those days!

We had a great time fishing with Captain Herb. He was very knowledgeable about the area and about the fishing. For some things we were doing, he would explain why he was doing something such as waiting for the tide change to stop catching bait and go for tarpon. He was also able to put us on some fish and was very helpful while fighting the tarpon. If I had not had his encouragement I would not have been able to land it. I would 100% encourage doing this fishing trip. It was overall an outstanding experience with some fun catching bait as well as a huge tarpon. The boat was also very clean and handled any waves with ease.
Captain Hofmann was an excellent guide. His professionalism and mindfulness on fish patterns and where fish are located made the charter an enjoyable experience, as well as worth the money! You can tell Captain Hofmann has been on the local waters and knows them well as he could explain equipment, areas and safety precautions in depth. He's a stand up guy and I felt very secure and safe booking with him. I highly recommend choosing Captain Hofmann for future trips.
