We had an awesome day out on the water with Captain Mike. My brother, my dad, and I went out fishing in the bay outside of Fort Myers and it ended up being an unforgettable trip. Captain Mike was not only a great guide but also a great teacher. Throughout the day he explained how fish think, why they move the way they do, and gave us a ton of useful tips and lessons we’ll definitely take with us on future trips.
We started the day fishing for trout, and somehow my dad ended up hooking into a shark which made things pretty exciting right off the bat. Captain Mike kept things fun the whole time, telling stories and making sure everyone was learning and enjoying themselves. He also made sure to take great photos of us throughout the trip so we’d have some awesome memories to look back on.
To finish the trip he took us to a spot that was loaded with red drum that he calls “fire trucks” because of how hard they fight and he wasn’t kidding. Those fish were an absolute blast to catch.
Overall it was an amazing experience and well worth the money. Captain Mike is a great dude, a great teacher, and someone who really cares about making sure you have a good time. We caught a lot of fish, learned a ton, and had an incredible day on the water. Highly recommend
