We caught a variety of fish species, captain Derick was an exceptionally personable, knowledgeable and polite captain. My husband, daughter, and I had a great morning trip with Captain Ron! It was relaxing, beautiful, and so much fun! Ron was super knowledgeable, played great music, and the trip felt like just hanging out fishing with a friend. We booked a 4-hour trip and we were with Captain Ron. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience. Our start was a little delayed due to boat issues but they were super attentive and quick to adapt. Absolutely the best experience!! We spent the entire time slaying fish. Ron was a fantastic guide. He was patient with us and gave us lots of tips to catch fish. We caught mackerel, trout, jacks and were very close to catching a baracuda. We even saw a small shark swimming around and a few dolphins on the way back to the boat launch:) The vibe was relaxing even though we were catching tons of fish. This was our first time fishing in the gulf and we will definitely be back again!!
