Captain Pat communicatd with me through the app before our trip to advise us of the incoming weather/wind/unfavorable conditions for catching fish and offered to push our trip out later in the week when it improved. We were leaving for Orlando the next morning and didnt have the option to reachedule and our 8 year old was upset with the idea of canceling all together, so we proceeded to go out despite the conditions even if it was a bust. We thought "worst case scenario we go out, get beat up by waves, get sea sick, don't catch anything, come in early, and get a partial refund," but we had to atleast try. As we got further from the marina, the wind shifted in our favor and the water began to clean up, so Captain Pat rigged the rods up with bait and tossed the lines in. We trolled for a bit and then one of our lines got a hit. It was looking promising to get my 8 year old atleast 1 fish on the line and in the boat. Not a minute later one of the other rods bent over with a fish on. Soon we had a good sized barricuda in the cooler. Captain Pat did his very best to put us on the fish and educate us along the way. We ended up staying out and fishing our full 4 hours and caught 5 fish. We were estatic we didnt get skunked and went home to cook up our delicious barricuda filets later that evening. 10 out of 10 would recommend Fair n Square charters with Captain Pat for your trip. Will not hesitate to use him for repeat trips. He responds very well if you have any questions but make sure the fishingbooker message thread shows correctly because we both had issues with it on the day of.
