We had a great trip with Captain Andrew! We told him the priority was catching something to eat, so he put us on some Pollack and Mackerel right away. We caught a ton of those and then decided to try for some stripers. Those weren’t quite running yet, so we didn’t catch any, but had plenty of food to take home and had such a great time!
We had an absolutely great time with Marsh River Outfitters! We started the day fishing for mackerel to use as bait, then headed out to fish for striped bass. We ended up getting two in the boat! Andrew really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. He was extremely knowledgeable and was happy to show us anything he could out on the water. You could tell he genuinely wanted us to have a great time and make the most of the trip. We had a fantastic day and would highly recommend Marsh River Outfitters to anyone looking for a great fishing charter. We’ll definitely be back!

This is our first year going out with this fishing charter and it was an amazing experience! Andrew was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. He did not get frustrated when my daughter’s line got hooked on something underwater, he just got to work to free it. We had a group of four and we all caught a ton. The stripper was so big we had to throw them back after hard battles! This fishing trip with this charter was so much better than other trips we have booked! We will book again!
I took my two boys and their cousins and Captain Gibbs got them on action right away by getting bait. When the tide got right, we head out for big stripers. We got on then pretty quick and even had some bust the bait on topwater. Captain was great with the boys, and manning 4 lines while putting the boat on the right drift. Highly recommend this trip if you’re a seasoned fisher or even as a family trip.
We had a wonderful time with Captain Andrew! He was very knowledgable about everything fishing and was great company! We had a slow start to our morning, but ended the trip catching a big stripper and having a try and a crazy tuna! Will 1000% be doing another trip with Captain Andrew when we are back in town - but definitely doing a full day trip next time! What a great time/experience - 12/10!
Unforgettable day out on the water with with my wife, and kids ages six and nine. Captain Andrew put us on the fish consistently, and was patient, kind, and helpful with the kids. We caught mackerel for bait and then hit some huge schools of big striped bass, bringing six to the boat with the biggest measuring 44 inches. So glad we chose this charter.
