James and crew were awesome! We had everything we needed on the boat. We caught fish and fought some big ones that got away! That’s what it’s all about! we had a great time and would recommend it to anyone. loved the boat bc it had a place to get out of the sun and store cooler/ bags etc. great for families!
We had an awesome experience with Spiked Sportfishing! Captain James and first mate Evan went above and beyond to make sure we were able to get out on the water. When it looked like it wasn’t going to be possible, they worked hard, made it happen, and got us out there and on some fish! You can tell they genuinely care about their customers having a great experience. James and Evan were an awesome team, and even better people. We had a great time and really appreciate everything they did to get us out and make the trip happen. Highly recommend Spiked Sportfishing!
We booked the 6-hour charter and had a great experience. We went about 9 miles offshore and started catching fish while trolling on the way out. Throughout the trip we caught mahi mahi, bonito, Spanish mackerel, snapper, and triggerfish, so there was plenty of action all day. The seas were pretty rough on the ride out, but the 25ft Parker handled the waves really well. They worked hard to keep us on fish and even gave us an extra hour on the house, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, it was a fun trip, we caught a variety of fish, and the captain made sure everyone had a good time. We would definitely book with them again.
We brought our two teenage boys and 10 year old girl and had a blast! The boat ride out to the Gulf was relaxing and when we got to several spots the fish were biting as soon as we cast our line. We only caught three keepers but still had a great time! The local popular dolphin (half fin) gave us a visit and swam around right next to the boat for about an hour, which was amazing for the kids especially! The Cap and crew are very respectful and down to earth and very helpful. There were no issues with the boat, and all the gear was up to par! Im very glad we decided to do this!
