Great Fishing Trip

Half Day Trip - 2:00 PM2 adults

Didn’t catch any keepers but the experience was great. What a kind man Gabe is. He gave us a good size fish to eat and even brought it to our cabin. Luis is also very helful. They were both very fun to hang out with. Definitely recommend them for your next fishing trip in Seward! Wife says thank you so much for a great experience. To top it off they even fed bald eagles while we were fishing. Unforgettable experience!

    A truly local Alaskan experience

    An incredible way to experience the local side of Alaska. Going fishing with the First Cast Fishing team was such a great experience, and I would absolutely recommend it. It felt very natural, casual, and authentic, and gave us the opportunity to see a completely different side of Seward. Being out on the water, surrounded by nature and beautiful landscapes, was amazing. The team was incredibly friendly and made the whole experience fun and relaxed. Even though we didn’t catch anything, we had a great time and would definitely do it again!

    Our fishing trip with Gabriel was truly a unique experience and one of the highlights of our time in Alaska. We learned so much from his knowledge, experience, and incredible agility while fishing. Gabriel was not only an excellent guide, but also made the whole experience so much fun. It was much more than just a fishing activity — it was an authentic Alaskan experience that we will remember for a long time.     Great Shore Fishing Experience

    We had a fantastic shore fishing experience in Seward with Gabe and his helper for the day, Justin. Our group included 12 family members ranging in age from 12 to 81, and Gabe did an outstanding job teaching everyone how to snag salmon. He was patient, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone understood the technique and had a great time. Gabe is an extremely skilled guide, but what really stood out was how personable, organized, and communicative he was. Managing a group our size with such a wide range of ages (and skill) is no small task, and he made the entire experience run smoothly and feel fun and relaxed. This was a memorable experience for our whole family and one of the highlights of our time in Seward. We would highly recommend Gabe to anyone looking for a great fishing experience in Alaska!

    Awesome fishing afternoon!

    We had such a wonderfull time fishing with Gabriel. He was awesome teaching us, very pacient, and me and my husband could catch fish. I have never cast fished in my life, and I don’t actually fish, and was able to go home scoring 3. We choosed this because I get sea sick and my husband really wanted to fish while in Seward. After we fished, Gabriel cleaned the fish for us, and gave recomendations on where to take it to be processed, and a restaurant that cooked it for us to dine. Would 100% recommend this for anyone!

    BEST FISHING EVER!!!!

    The captain took us to some great fishing spots, and we ended up catching 6 and 8 fish each! He was incredibly friendly and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire trip. He provided everything we needed, including boots and all the fishing gear, and explained everything clearly, so all we really had to do was dress warmly and enjoy ourselves. We had such a great time that we fished for the full four hours. This was easily one of the best experiences we had in Alaska, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting. Don’t miss it!
