it was a good start to a hopefully lasting relationship with captain Jon. my wife loved it, the kids loved it, and i loved seeing them love it.
We had a number of first time fisherman. Captain Jonathan was helpful in all our needs. Made sure we caught fish. Did some trolling in the beginning and then switched over to bottom fishing. Caught fish on both techniques. Would highly recommend him for your next trip.
Omg! I booked captain john for my son’s birthday! 5 twelve year old boys! Capt. gave the option to catch sharks and fish and I’ll let you guess which one they chose! We caught 8 sharks total! The experience was the best from beginning to end! Capt. was down to earth and totally chill! Thank you so much for creating core memories for my son and friends! They now want to make this a yearly tradition!
We booked a trip with Capt. Jonathan for sea bass for my 11 year olds first ocean fishing trip. The water was rough to go out for them so he suggested to go out for black drum. My nephew caught his first fish and it was a sizeable one. Jonathans a great guide that makes the trip enjoyable and Id highly recommend going with him. We are already planning our next trip to go out again!
Today we booked our 2nd trip with JP Charters, and were not disappointed! We started with trolling and caught dozens of Bluefish. At times it felt like we could barely reel them in before we hooked another. Then we tried bottom-fishing, and caught a few sea bass and fluke. One was big enough for our dinner tonight! Great trip overall, highly recommend!
Captain Jon was amazing. Got to the dock and he gave us the rundown on the weather and conditions. Shifted to fishing bayside and hooked with 10 sharks! one heck of a morning for iffy weather.
