Great Fishing Trip aboard the Bob Marlin!!!

Full Day Trip – Offshore2 adults

It was my wife's birthday and she wanted to go fishing. We could not have had a better boat and crew. The owner Tim, Deck Hand/1st Mate Dani and Captain Kendar were fantastic, all of them seasoned, professional guys. Great conversations and excellent in their crafts!! We had a great time and caught some really nice yellow fin tuna!

    Great Trip and Crew

    Half Day Trip – Offshore • 5 adults

    The Captain, Tim, was great at communicating as he reached out when I booked the trip and periodically up until and is fluent in English with an extensive and interesting history of traveling the world. The crew was very experienced and fully engaged with the fishing and our family. Even though the fishing reports from other boats were that not much was being caught, we landed 3 sailfish on our half day tour. They also supplied some very good morning snacks and midday sandwiches and guacamole. We have chartered numerous boats and would highly recommend this charter.

    Rooster Fish Bonanza

    Full Day Trip – Inshore • 4 adults

    My wife and I traveled to Costa Rica, and of course we wanted to go fishing. Hooked up with Bob Marlin Charters through FishBooker and had a GREAT trip. The Captain and crew were courteous and helpful, and we caught our Bucket List Fish (Rooster Fish). We actually hooked up with 4 but one was so big it broke the line! All Roosters were over 40 inches. I highly recommend this charter.

    Fantastic family trip

    Full Day Trip – Offshore • 5 adults • 1 child

    We had a phenomenal trip! We started out from the beach in Herradura for an 8 hr trip looking for billfish, dorado, and tuna. It started out a little slow, but they got us on a large school of yellowfin tuna. After catching multiple large tuna, we caught a small dorado and 2 sailfish. The crew was super helpful and friendly. They were great with our kids. We have 2 boys, 16 and 15, and a girl , 12. They filleted up the tuna, made fresh sashimi with avocado to eat on the boat. Highly recommend. Danny, George, and Kendall were great!

    Bucket list: Catch a tuna and eat it on the boat: ✔️ I messaged them and told them that if we catch a tuna, that they better have soy sauce as I’m eating it on the boat! He replied, “I’ll make you sashimi!! Indeed we did & indeed he did!!! Started out hot wirh an immediate double up, one got away, then we went cold for hours and hit 2 more at the end. At the end of the day, it’s called fishing, not catching nut we still ended up w 3 Tuna totalling over 200lbs! Definitely recommend and next time we are getting a SAIL!!

    Full Day Trip – Inshore • 6 adults

    Great trip with Capt Kendar, Tim and Danny. We asked them to accomodate us to fish some deep drops for grouper and snapper and they taylored a trip to our request. They even swapped an electric reel that we had brought with us onto one of their rods. The crew was helpful and attentive to our group and we enjoyed exchanging stories and jokes all day. Tackle, bait and food was all top notch. We have fished many local charters and Tim and Danny stand out because their communication was constant and genuine. We all felt included from the most seasoned anglers in our group to a couple novices. Our group of 6 had plenty of space as well on the boat and the layout was perfect. Price was very fair for what we received. Would be our first choice for next charter in Jaco/Sueños area.
