  10/10 recommend this! Captain Mike and mate were the perfect crew for a perfect morning of fishing. This was a first for me and Mike was so responsive and patient in answering all my questions. The trip was a surprise for my boyfriend who is not a beginner and he said it was the best birthday surprise ever! We got right out in the water and had no shortage of fish to catch! An overall great day with great company and an overall great experience !

  great family fun!

  Capt. Mike and first mate Jim were super. They have a fountain of knowledge about Lake Erie and the Great Lakes in general. We nearly caught our walleye limit and reeled in a couple BONUS fish as well. We had a great time and I’d highly recommend this charter.

  Captain Mike consistently got us on the fish. The weather was up and down, but we truly had a memorable experience !

  Fishing Booker Yes, I would be glad to give a review regarding my fishing trips with Captain Mike on the Erie Jem. But first a disclaimer should anyone happen to ask. My two trips were last year in 2024 before he secured his charter license but yes they were on the Erie Jem. The first trip targeted walleye and the second was for perch. Both were half day morning trips. Both were hugely successful and a lot of fun. The Charter may be new but Captain Mike has been fishing for many years in Lake Erie and is well schooled in fishing and better yet well connected with the local fisherman and Charter Captains. Fishing locations are based on where the locals are catching fish, not necessarily where most of the boats happen to congregate. Fifteen minutes and no fish and believe me, you are up and moving to a new spot. The Erie Jem appears to be very well outfitted and super clean. Lots of room for fishing and big enough for the wacky waves of Lake Erie and yet fast enough to get back to harbor when the weather prediction falls short. Enjoy your Charter. Lee Reibel
