Son’s first time fishing and boat trip

Half Day Trip – Sunset Fishing2 adults1 child

This was my sons first time on a boat or going fishing and all i was concerned with was catching some fish and not getting sick. He did not get sick and we caught a lot of fish. Most the fish were on the small side but did land 3-4 very nice fish and lost two what felt like really nice fish. The Captain and his mate both excellent and found the fish for us. bery patient with my son and showing him the ropes. Highly reccomend

    Exciting end to a great evening of fishing

    Half Day Trip – Sunset Fishing • 2 adults

    This was our second trip (in several years) with Hooker charters. They are great. Excellent team and good fishing both trips. We had a wonderful Easter evening catching snapper, grouper, triggerfish, yellow tail and some others. Able to keep a lot of catch since sizes were decent on most of what we hooked. The highlight was using a bit of live bait we caught to lure and bring in a Hammerhead shark about 4’. So cool and so strong! We released him after a few pics. Just a phenominal end to a wonderful evening on the water. The crew was gracious and friendly throughout. Recommend Hooker Charters for Aruba fishing, we will choose them again for our next trip for sure!

    A family afternoon of excitement

    Half Day Trip – Bottom Fishing (PM) • 4 adults • 2 children

    My friend and I took our two sons, aged 10, on the afternoon bottom fishing charter. We had a grand old time, both kids caught a good amount of fish. The crew was wonderful, very attentive and helpful. We had two highlights, early on a barracuda bit one of our fish in half. The crew quickly reacted, and got the remaining piece of fish out there, allowing us to catch the barracuda. At the end, we pulled in a massive mullet snapper. I highly recommend this charter for families.

    Swimming with Turtles

    Bottom Fishing and Snorkeling (AM) • 3 adults • 1 child

    I took my Wife and 10 year old son on this trip. we did bottom bouncing and immediately my son caught 3 trigger fish, i caught some yellow tail snapper, my wife caught some as well (including other species). My son really wanted to snorkel and swim with turtles so they took us closer to the island and Jake and I swam with fish (they chummed so there were even more around) and then took us to a place they said would be a good chance for turtles. Towards the end they directed us to a turtle they sighted and you should have heard the excitement in my son’s voice! He was happy, and my Wife was happy so of course I was also. They cleaned our fish and i kept some to have the restaurant make us lunch and gave them the rest. Theis was a great trip!

    Fishing and snorkeling fun with the family

    Bottom Fishing and Snorkeling (AM) • 4 adults

    We did the half day fishing and snorkeling trip with our family of four. Everyone caught fish (trigger fish, yellow snapper, grouper) and the crew worked hard to make sure we did. Then we went snorkeling and got to see tons of fish and even two sea turtles. Crew filleted our fish while we snorkeled so we could eat it at Nos Cluibhuis. This was our third time going with the Hooker and we would definitely recommend it.

    This was my best fishing charter experience yet

    Half Day Trip – Sunset Fishing • 9 adults

    The crew was great, local fishermen with a great vibe. They taught us everything we needed to know, had great conversations and overall hsd an amazing time with them. The sunset trip was amazing, we got to see some incredible views and cool skies. Fish started biting a lot once the sun went down but still caught a good amount. I highly reccomend booking this trip!
