Fishing baptism

6 Hour Charter(Flexible Start Time)2 adults

This was my first time fishing ever and I doubt it could have been any better. With Ben’s guidance i caught 9 (!!) salmon and loved every bit of the process. The best part was the end of the day, when Ben decided to stay out for longer so that my friend and I could have a go at catching some larger fish. Two large chinook salmon hooked at the same time and after some epic fighting we both landed them, which was the perfect end to the day. I am definitely hooked myself .. only problem is that I doubt it gets any better!!

    Captain Ben is Amazing

    If you are looking to catch fish, Captain Ben is your guy. His charter was absolutely AMAZING. As someone who genuinely loves to fish, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. His knowledge of the water and the fish was very impressive, and he kept us on fish all day while we watched other captains struggle to find them. Captain Ben went above and beyond to make sure we had an awesome day, and everyone in our group walked away incredibly grateful for the experience. On top of putting us on fish, he shared a ton of knowledge and gave me fishing advice that I’ll actually take home and use in the future. If you’re looking for a captain who knows his stuff, works hard to get you on fish, and genuinely wants you to have an unforgettable trip, Captain Ben is your guy. Couldn’t recommend him enough.

    Fish on!!

    We had an excellent day out with Captain Ben, owner-operator of RDX Fishing Charters. We fished for coho salmon just outside the lower arm of the Fraser River and had plenty of action throughout the day. The big fish may return to their waters but we got to take home the memories and a good meal. Ben is extremely knowledgeable, passionate about fishing, and clearly knows these waters well. The boat was excellent, the gear was top-notch, and everything was well organized from start to finish. This was my first salmon fishing experience, and getting to share it with my brother and nephew made it even more memorable. Captain Ben made sure we had a great time and put us on the fish. Highly recommend RDX Fishing Charters to anyone looking for a great salmon fishing experience around Vancouver. We’ll definitely be back!

    Top Notch family fishing

    Captain Ben was awesome! Communication leading up to our trip was smooth, and he even gave us flexible date options so bad weather wouldn't ruin our plans. He sent clear instructions for parking and getting our licenses, and his boat was very clean. He's super personable and easy to talk to, and he was amazing with our 6-year-old while keeping things fun for the adults too. We caught a variety of salmon (partly thanks to a last-minute location pivot he made so we could have best chances for fishing fun). We thought most of the fish would be catch-and-release, but were pleasantly surprised and we actually got to bring some delicious fish home for dinner! Thanks so much, Captain Ben!

    Tough Day of Fishing, but a great time!

    We had an amazing time with Ben as our fishing guide! Even though it was a slower day on the water, the experience was absolutely top-notch from start to finish. Ben made us feel like we’d known him for years — easy to talk to, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on making sure everyone had a great time. His positive attitude and personality turned the trip into much more than just fishing. As an added bonus, we were able to bring home fresh shrimp and crab, which made the day even more memorable! If you’re looking for a guide who creates a fun, relaxed, and enjoyable experience regardless of how the fish are biting, Ben is your guy. Highly recommend!

    Amazing day for our family with Ben

    Ben was not only knowledge about the area and his boat and a skilled fisherman, but led us in a fishing experience with heart. Instead of doing the work for my husband and our sons and then taking pictures of them with fish and crabs, he coached them through the catches so that they could truly say they succeeded at the catch. He was encouraging and made it fun. He also cared about doing what's best for the fish we released. As a family man.himself, he knew how to maximize the experience for our family. My guys caught several fish and hauled in lots of crabs.
