My 11 year old son is an avid fisherman who has always wanted to catch a walleye. For his birthday i got him a charter with Captain John and his first mate Jim to help achieve that dream. What a wonderful time we had. We caught our limit , it was a beautiful calm day and gave my son a lifetime memory. Much credit goes to Captain John and Jim who did everything to make sure my sons trip was a memorable one. As soon as we got into the truck to go home my son says, dad can we do that again.? Will definitely use Off the Isle Charters again.

When the unexpected came up, John could have just canceled but he made sure it didn’t get in the way of our plans! Great morning of fishing with a courteous and professional crew whose company I wouldve enjoyed even if we did not hit our limit by 9am. My 12 year okd fisherman had an amazing experience. I hope we get another visit to Erie in our future and if we do, we’ll be contacting Captain John!

Charter was awesome. Great communication. Captain John had us on the bite the whole time. Captain was very knowledgeable, and put us on the fish. His equipment and boat were great. We caught our limit within a few hours and had a great time!
