Captain Andy had a wealth of knowledge to share. We caught out first fish not 5 minutes after all the lines were in the water. All 4 of us tagged out.
Can't say enough good things about our 8 hour trip with Capt Andy on Broad Horizons. Key notes include communications prior to the trip, on time and ready to go the morning of the trip, fishing within 45 minutes of leaving port, the Penn Yan boat being a roomy platform to fish from with a cabin to escape the sun when needed, excellent fishing gear and a Capt that worked all day keeping our lines in the water and fishing. Add on the benefit of a great weather day, and our party maxing our limit, and we could not have asked or expected more. We'll be back.

Tough day to fish. Cold, windy and fog. Captain Andy worked hard to get us on fish. Despite all the challenges we scored big. My wife got her “bucket list “salmon at about 20 lbs. plus several more. Back at the dock he filleted and hand packed our catch neat and clean. Andy was friendly and accommodating. 5 star captain.
First one we hooked was a great fish gave a good fight. That was the biggest for the day. But got into some other small salmon to finish out the day.
