  Swordfish Trip on May 30, 2026 • 2 adults

  Captain Jason and Deckhand Sergio were Amazing. Without any Real ocean fishing experience we were helped every step of the way! So many fish caught we lost count! No joke! Halibut, Rockfish, bass and Redfish, along with several Species I don’t remember the names of. We had the Best trip Ever. Sergio kept our hooks baited and Captain Jayson kept us on the fish every stop we made! The boat was well equipped and Very Comfortable, OUR Safety was never in question. Always felt safe and secure. You won’t find a Captain & crew that will treat you better or keep you On the bite better! If you looking for a Day trip on the ocean in San Diego, Hook up with, “The limit,” or ,”The Long Run,” boats and Have n experience to remember. We will Do it Again!!. Charles & Janet.

  I had an amazing fishing trip with The Longrun. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The captain was knowledgeable, professional, and clearly passionate about fishing, which made the whole experience both fun and productive. The boat was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable, and we felt safe the entire time. The crew worked hard to put us on fish and were great about helping with gear, techniques, and tips, no matter your experience level. We caught plenty of fish and had a great time doing it. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly, and well-organized. If you’re looking for a memorable fishing trip with a crew that truly knows what they’re doing, I highly recommend The Longrun. I’ll definitely be booking again!

  Wil and Sergio were great. They were very accomodating and made us feel comfortable and safe. Will shared his knowledge about the Navy points of interest and the geographical layout and where we were going. Sergio was so helpful with baiting our hooks, untangling lines or whatever needed to be done. Will added some extra time to our trip since he had a little engine trouble at the begining and had to wait a bit. Really appreciated that. We would recommend Will, Sergio and “The Limit” to anyone! thank you! Jeff, Jan and Reid

  Even on a tough day

  Extended Offshore Full Day on August 1, 2026 • 4 adults

  Our trip just fell on one of those days. The radio chatter was silent and boats were calling it early. However, Skipper Ross found us a kelp paddy where our 4-pack pulled in 30+ yellow fin. Ryan was a machine pulling and rebaiting hooks to get us back in. It was fast, furious, and fun. On our trip we felt like the Kings of San Diego.
