July fishing trip

3/4 Day Trip (AM)3 adults

Got to the pick up spot this morning and met up with Captain Mike. Mike had already caught the bait for the day and we were off. First stop we landed a nice blue fish and two flounders one too too small and one just under the 15 inch size limit. Moved on to spot # 2 we got several bites, and caught a couple of lizard fish.onto spot 3 my 17 year old daughter landed a nice size sting ray she really enjoyed that. Mike was very helpful and that was appreciated. I would recommend him to any of my own family and friends.

    Great day on the water

    Captain Mike was great company all day. He is very friendly and knows his fishing. I had never worked a top water lure before, but first cast I had a speckled trout blow up on it. Caught an over-slot red drum first on the TW. Then we soaked some baits and caught some black tip sharks and a bluefish. We headed a little deeper into the swamps and worked our way through some oyster banks and landed a really nice keeper red drum. Ended up with four drum. Great dinner for the family.
