  4 Hour Trip (AM) on September 11, 2020 • 2 adults

  We had an excellent fishing trip with Nelson’s. Our captain was on time and very friendly, genuinely caring if we had a good day or not. We launched from the dock and the boat was comfortable and spacious. We had room for our food and drinks, and our captain made sure our seats were dry from the nights rain. We were fishing in less than 15 min from launch and had snappers on in no time. He had both live and frozen bait and plenty of poles rigged. We moved from the snapper spot after a while and quickly found mackerel trolling. After catching quite a few there, we hit a reef or two and had more fish on. Overall, a great charter and a very friendly captain. Would highly recommend and would book again.

  5 Hour Inshore Fishing Trip

  5 Hour Trip (AM) on June 25, 2020 • 2 adults

  My son and I did the 5 hour inshore fishing trip on June 25, 2020 and had a great time. It was our first time fishing in Florida and Captain Steve was very patient with us. We caught a variety of fish - mangrove snapper, snook, grunts, ladyfish - even some catfish at the dock while Captain Steve went to get more live baith. Captain Steve was awesome and had us catching fish within minutes. As an added bonus, we even had time to do a little offshore fishing and we caught enough for my son to have a nice fish lunch. It was a great day and I highly recommend Captain Steve. He knew a lot about this area and he knew where the fish were.

  Amazing fishing and boating adventure - highlight of our trip!

  4 Hour Trip (AM) on May 22, 2020 • 4 adults • 3 children

  Captain Steven is the best - just ask any of my kiddos :) He took us and our little pup on an awesome half day of fishing and boating! Within 5 minutes of reaching the first fishing spot we all had caught something. We caught numerous species of fish including sheepshead, snook, snapper and more. Captain Steven also brought us to a shelling island for us to explore and swim while he filleted and bagged our “keepers” to be all ready for grilling. While arranging our trip Captain Steven responded to all my emails right away and was even able to find a different boat launch to meet us at that was closer to where we were staying. We will definitely book another trip next time we come down. Thanks for the great day and tasty fish!

  Captain Steve medicine the doc 15 minutes early. Had us all loaded in the boat and on our way within minutes. We started catching fish at the very first place we stopped. We didn't stop catching fish all day. He moved from spot to spot to put us on different species of fish. He was laid back, fun, and easy going. He was very knowledgeable about the area as well as the general wildlife and marine animals and taught us a lot. We will definitely book with Steve again

  Sea Chaser at it's Best

  What an awesome day out on Captain Steve's Sea Chaser! He took us to some hot spots and can't believe the wide variety of fish we were able to catch. Captain Steve provided an excellent experience for the group of 4 of us. He was very accommodating as well as knowledgeable. He provided great tips and made our 5-hour fishing experience on his fantastic boat a memorable one. We definitely want to come back to Nelson's Nautical Charters!
