Good, not great
We booked a 4 hours off / near shore fishing trip, 2 adults and 2 kids 12 years old. My son and I have prior deep sea fishing experience but our friends tried for the first time Rocky helped us catch enough live bait fish, found some REALLY good fishing spots with big fish biting that we unfortunately did not manage to reel all the way up. Rocky was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I rate the trip as average for following environmental reasons. The boat has an older diesel engine that is loud and stinks pretty bad, far more so than on other comparable trips / boats I have been on. At one of the fishing spots where we had good luck catching fish for about 10 minutes before a Bottlenose Dolphin showed up. Our kids were ecstatic to see the Dolphin but Rocky felt he needed to through underwater Firecrackers in the water to scare of the intruder. This did bother us a bit but after all we were there to fish, so we understood. After emptying the package with firecrackers, Rocky through the paper wrapping and coated box in the water which was completely unnecessary.

Completely disagree. Karma may be an older boat but the motor is brand new. It’s a 440 horse Jan Marr and probably the least toxic offensive smelling diesel motor that I’ve ever had. I prefer diesel to gasoline for safety purposes. As far as the Dolphins are concerned I’m just preventing thieves from stealing our fish without hurting them. It wasn’t an AK it was a firecracker and they get the message. The rapper was cardboard it disintegrates organically in salt water, I would never throw plastic overboard. Not so much but thanks anyway Captain rock
