Two Hours Late, No Refunds, Unprofessional
My overall experience with Action Charter was very poor. My friends and I showed up at 5:30 am for our 6:00 am fishing charter. When the boat did not arrive, we decided to call to try to figure out what was going on. We watched other groups of individuals scheduled for our same charter leaving as well. We decided to leave since we had no word from any employee of Action Charter about what was happening. Finally, around 8:00 am, two hours after our scheduled departure, a lady called me back saying that they had issues with their generator and that the boat just left. She also said that the captain would not refund us for the trip and that we needed to speak with him directly moving forward. After two days of the captain avoiding my calls, he finally called me back. He basically said that because his business was financially struggling from the COVID-19 pandemic, that he would not refund me my money. It was extremely unprofessional, as he was the one that was two hours late with no explanation to his customers. Don't waste your money on this fishing charter, and instead pick one with better customer service because if anything out of your hands happens, you won't get your money back. It's clear what this business cares about, and it's your money.
