Offshore Reef & Wreck Fishing Trip
On this trip, you'll be aboard a massive 33’ center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, an RV toilet, radar, navigation, auto-pilot and everything you need for a productive day on the water. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but we will generally stop and catch some on the way out.
These waters are known for Amber Jack, King Mackerel, Triggerfish, Great Barracuda, Blackfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Sailfish, Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Swordfish, Blue Marlin, Mahi, Wahoo and more – with any luck, you’ll have tight lines in no time. On these trips, you can expect to freeline live bait, throw artificial lures, troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle.
WE OFFER 4-8 HOUR TRIPS TO THE REEFS AND WRECKS AND 12 HOUR TRIPS TO THE OIL RIGS. Keep in mind that travel time from the dock is included in the total charter time.
4 hour trips are nearshore.
6 hour trips are offshore with time to troll for trophy fish as well as bottom drop for reef species.
8 hour trips are for the ones that want to get it done!
Kids are welcome aboard! Children 6 and under must wear life vests, so let us know their ages prior and we will have the appropriate sizes available. Customers are encouraged to bring plenty of drinks, food and snacks. Bring a small cooler, or cooler bag. We have plenty of ice on board.
Some are run with the help of a First Mate. A 15–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work. Fuel is included.

Highly recommend David. our original trip was canceled due to weather but he rescheduled us for the next day and communicated quickly. the boat and equipment is high quality and well taken care of. when we got to our spot we were on fish right away. we were catching fish all throughout the trip and ended up with 5 keepers between me and my girlfriend. any time you have a question hed have an answer and would give you tips/what to look for. Ive done a few fishing charters in the past but overkill is definitely the best.
This was our first offshore fishing trip. We've done a few inshore, but we weren't sure what to expect or how we would feel going offshore. This was by far the best trip that we've ever taken. The boats at Overkill Adventures all look like showroom conditions, which shows the pride Captain David takes in his business. We felt a high level of security while offshore and reassurance that we were in good hands. On top of that, we caught so many fish that we didn't want to go back to land!
Do yourself a favor and book with Overkill Adventures. Captain David is simply the best. We've been on A LOT of charters and this was by far the absolute best time we've ever had. We felt safe the entire time which is extremely important to us. The boat was is top notch condition and the best part is, we caught more fish than we ever have. I literally had to take a break because my arms and shoulders hurt.
Very enjoyable fishing trip fulfilling every expectation that we had. Nice boat, plenty of action, and the best captain we've gotten in years. Highly recommended chart company here. Overkill Adventures goes above and beyond for their customers.
Absolute fantastic day with Captain David. We would highly recommend booking the 6 hour trip as the 4 hour wasn't long enough, but Captain David let us extend an extra hour. The boat was great and setup ready to fish when we got there. He had us laughing all day and we made some great memories catching TONS of fish! We opted to do a catch and release day due to flying out later that evening.
