Folly Beach fishing
Bad weather and poor catch, but the captain did his best to put us on fish!! Good job. Only Rec was that he have more sinkers (we ran out) and a working flashlight 🔦 (we fished till 10pm).

Captain Dustin does a great job putting you on a variety of fish. He works with you quickly and effectively to keep everyone baited up and having a blast!! We will be back in the future.

My wife and I were on our honeymoon, and she really isn’t experienced at all, Captain Dustin helped explain things and guide her throughout the charter. She eventually caught a flounder and 16” red fish - I caught a blue fish & 21” redfish, great trip! The weather & wind wasn’t helpful, but we worked hard to catch the fish, changing spots, trying different bait/technique and it was overall a great trip. Would recommend to anyone.
The old adage states, “A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work.” This adage rang true for us. Although we didn’t catch any fish, it wasn’t because the captain didn’t try. He moved us to several locations, attempted to use multiple types of bait, and changed the rigging on poles in an attempt to get the fish to bite. He worked hard, and we really appreciated his efforts. Additionally, he shared knowledge of the area with us and he was a pleasant conversationalist. Although we didn’t catch fish, we still had fun! The scenery was beautiful, and we saw several dolphins. It was a great family experience, and I would definitely recommend this trip to my family and friends.

Unfortunately when we have the new moon tides. It does make it hard to catch. But we try to make the best out of every trip. Was my pleasure.

Dustin was wonderful! This was both of our second times on an "INSHORE" trip here in Charleston and we had a blast. Dustin was extremely knowledgeable, we learned so much, and a true professional at what he does. We limited our pretty quickly on the reds and he definitely knew where to find them. We will most definitely be coming back and hanging with Dustin!

When we first arrived at the Folly Beach dock for two hours of shark fishing, I will admit to being a little underwhelmed by the boat that Captain Dustin brought for this trip. During the course of our two-plus hours on the water, however, I came to understand that the boat was perfectly outfitted for this type of trip. We fished an area near the lighthouse and Dustin kept us entertained and informed, even when the fish weren't biting. Dustin definitely knows his way around the area and moved the boat appropriately to take advantage of the changing tide. It was clear to me that his 2 hour shark fishing trips are usually more "productive" than ours was (possibly due to excessive heat), but each of my sons ended up catching (and releasing) a nice bonnet. Dustin made sure we stayed busy by having the boys cast for trout while we waited for sharks to find their bait on the other side of the boat. Dustin even gave us a few extra minutes on the water while I tried my luck. Overall, both boys were able to land nice-sized bonnets that provided just the right amount of challenge to make for a great day of fishing. We'll certainly give Atlantic Breeze a call the next time we are looking for a fishing charter. Thanks again, Dustin!
