If you’re in the Clearwater area and want a good fishing experience, JT Fishing Charters is definitely a great choice. This trip was our first trip of 2023 (my wife and I charter a few times a year), and the weather was not the best…cold, high winds, etc. We were not very optimistic about having a good day of fishing, but Jace got us to the right spots and we were able to catch some very nice redfish and quite a few sea trout. Absolutely recommend.

Awesome fishing experience. This Captain has been fishing in this area since he was a young boy. His time in the Marines gave him a discipline that I have never seen in a fishing Captain. Besides the snook and redfish that we caught we hooked into a tarpon that was almost on the boat until it caught a snag and got free. And another one that took the line out like it was a whale. With full drag and me trying to reel when I could I couldn’t stop it. That BIG fish got away. If I ever leave Missouri to fish in Clearwater beach again it will be with this Captain.

Had a great experience with Captain Jace. The fish definitely didn’t cooperate with us but that certainly wasn’t for a lack of trying. Captain Jace seemed to be way more disappointed than we were and was doing everything in his power to use every trick in the book. Jace is a very knowledgeable Captain and has been fishing these same waters his whole life. He knows when and where the best times are to give guests the best chance of landing the best fish. Great time and would book again. Highly recommend Jace. Can’t lose.

We had a blast.  Jace was terrific !  He picked us up early and dropped us off late.  The fishing was not awesome but the experience was !  You could tell Captain was frustrated with the conditions and the water temp kept us from a ton of fish…..but he tried many places…. We still had plenty of fish to take with us.  He dropped us off right at the dock of a restaurant that cooked the fish for us !  Captain Jace, thanks again for a great day.  We will be back for sure 👍🤘
